Cluster Houses & Flats

Chinotimba (3.5ha) and CBD/Low Density (8.7ha), Victoria Falls

Redevelopment of 12.2ha of dilapidated council-controlled land into a mixed-use live-work-play precinct of cluster houses, flats and commercial parks around the Victoria Falls CBD.

Cluster Houses & Flats
Overview

The VFCC is redeveloping dilapidated buildings and underutilized pieces of land through intensifying use of the same parts of the land — building cluster houses and flats on the identified land parcels to accommodate more families, provide recreational and other social amenities, and provide local economic development in a live, work and play environment.

Project Description

Redevelopment of old houses around the CBD into commercial parks, mixed-use developments and Town Houses across Chinotimba (3.5ha) and CBD & Low Density areas (8.7ha combined).

Investment Opportunity

Why this opportunity exists.

Investors are expected to work on a compensation model with the Local Authority to offer alternative accommodation to the households/entities that will be displaced in the process. Partners will agree on new designs and concepts to cater to various needs, especially to accommodate households and offices in a suitable mixed-use arrangement. Investors are also supposed to provide on-site water and sanitation infrastructure.
