Overview

The Masuwe area covering 1,200 hectares just outside Victoria Falls was designated as a Special Economic Zone in finance and tourism in 2018. The SEZ presents an opportunity for businesses to set up within the zone and enjoy the incentives of operating therein.

The SEZ requires investment to fund the development of amenities such as: a four-star hotel with a 5,000-seater conference facility; a hotel school and conference centre; holiday homes; medical tourism facilities; a golf estate; and a shopping mall.
